Can detect total coliforms, Escherichia coli, and fecal (heat-resistant) coliforms and provide quality control. Let you have no worries when developing new methods. At the same time, the test results can also serve as a reference for method expansion and laboratory certification.
Enzyme substrate based coliform detection system
Provide positive and negative bacterial strains for testing the accuracy and reliability of the entire experiment
Enzyme substrate method reagents can simultaneously detect total coliforms and Escherichia coli or fecal (heat-resistant) coliforms within 24 hours
-
No need to operate in a sterile room
The quality control kit includes:
200 enzyme substrate method reagents
JC-51 type 51 hole quantitative disk, 100 pieces
JC-97 type 97 hole quantitative disk, 100 pieces
200 JC-100 sterile sampling bottles
1 set of quality control samples
-
One 97 well positive colorimetric disc
Quantitative testing:Used in conjunction with 9900Z intelligent programmable quantitative sealing machine
Positive result:The yellow color of the sample indicates a positive total coliform or fecal (heat-resistant) coliform, while the yellow color and fluorescence indicate a positive Escherichia coli. No change to negative result
Testing steps:
Qualitative testing
Step 1: Add reagents to the sample and incubate for 24 hours.
Step 2: Read the result:
Colorless=Negative
Yellow=Total coliform bacteria
Yellow/Fluorescent=Escherichia coliquantitative detection
Step 1: Add the reagent to the sample.
Step 2: Pour into a 51 well quantitative plate®(Counting range from 1 to 200) or 97 well quantitative disc®(Counting range from 1 to 2419)
Step 3: In the programmable quantitative controlSeal on the sealing machine and incubate in a 35 ± 0.5 ℃ incubator for 24 hours (temperature requirements may vary depending on regulations in other countries).
If fecal (heat-resistant) Escherichia coli is detected, it should be cultured in a 44.5 ± 0.2 ℃ incubator for 24 hours.Step 4:51 hole quantitative disk - reading result:
Yellow hole=total coliforms/fecal (heat-resistant) Escherichia coli
Yellow/fluorescent hole=Escherichia coli
Count the number of positive wells and refer to the MPN table of the 51 well quantitative disk-
97 hole quantitative disk - reading result:
Yellow hole=total coliforms/fecal (heat-resistant) Escherichia coli
Yellow/fluorescent hole=Escherichia coli
Count the number of positive wells and refer to the MPN table of the 97 well quantitative disk
